Tracks 3-9 are an instrumental demo tape which was sent to prospective singers who answered our Melody Maker 'Vocalist Wanted' advert after Charlie disappeared, circa August 1994
Tracks 10-17 are recordings made Oct-Dec 1994 with Stuart Ness on vocals
Track 18 is a mystery...

This is no frills heavy as hell noise rock that stomps and rolls methodically from strength to strength. A standout effort.

This is pretty much a perfect noise rock record, worshiping at the Church of Jesus Lizard, but with its own flavor of punishment, more calculated and bludgeoning than Yow and co. The riffs are all killer, no filler. I'm sad that this is the last hurrah for this band, but at least it ended on this very high note. Buildings is dead, long live Buildings!
